HAPPY NEW YEAR to EVERYONE!
At least i know it's new yearrr. But the mood isn't the same!
no motivation to feeeel happyy, nor the excitement of getting hongbao!
Just thinking that tmr EXAMS officially starts!
and i just started mugging for the paper which is tmrr!
how pathetic.
As usual, spent my first 2 days of new year at my cousins house and the 3rd day at home.
Went to my grandma's house on the first day, Then my cousin rick's house on the second day. Adults gt mahjong to keep them occupied. As for us kids, we gt blackjack to keep us occupied. This year, my luck is pretty good. won like 18 bucks from blackjack! hahaha. gt double Aces, then best, our rules for the game was, if anyone gt triple 7 adding up to 21 in the game, they get 7x of their bet. can't believe that i was so lucky to get it! But my bet is only 50 cents though. But still, i was able to be so lucky! wuahaha. Then my 2 young cousin, keith and crystal saw us playing cards for the first 2 days. On the 3rd day at my house, they bought their own money to play. Well, for Keith who is in pri 1, he said he wanna earn more pocket money for school! hahahaha. So funnnnyy. I was helping him to check the cards, then my auntie said "keith! you should check and count your own cards." Next he replied while counting his money, "gt jie jie help me see no need la, as long as got money can le." -.-""" So money mindeddd. hahaha. This year is different. Not too much of steamboat. hahaha.
At grandma' house, we gt delicious home cooked food. At rick's house we gt ala carte catered food! Then at my house, it's steamboat!
Now, also not forgetting, every new year, my family we would usually head down to river hongbao during eve of new year to walk. Then my bro and i went to throw darts at one of the game stores and i gt myself a red miniature king kong that can be left clinging on my bag! Next bought a african giraffe necklace, ate ramy burger, ultra bigg mango ice cream ice topped with mango cubes and of course i gt to see the fire works! Usually, every year, there is always big statue of the 12 zodiac animals with the whole years luck printed on the side. This year my luck is pretty good. smooth sailing in everything i do. (Which i hope so) Not saying that i am superstitious but sometimes this kind of things are really creepy? perhaps it's true.
Last year, i was contemplating whether shld i go mountain climbing at sabah. Then my parents discouraged me from going saying it's dangerous! Then at river hongbao, i saw the warning about telling me to avoid mountain climbing. It's so creepyy. Then i put off the idea of going. Then i heard from terence, someone doing the mountain climbing, really slipped and fall. Hanging on to some branches, she gt pulled up by one of the guy and wasn't badly hurt. But i guess this would kinda create fear in her of climbing the mountain again after having such a close shave from death.
Anywaayy, back to studying! tata
