I am a mermaid with long brown hair, brown bikini top and brown tail. I was swimming around in the ocean. Tsunami came. I was washed together with the waves and all of a sudden, I was clingling onto the tree (Dun ask me where the tree come from, I am still in the middle of the ocean -.-"). Below me, was the muddy brown ocean water (same color as my tail and bikini top) with a wide strong currents flowing down like a stream towards i dunno where. The Tsunami waves came again and it was approaching closer and closer while i cling helplessly on the tree. Surprisingly, my arms were so strong that i could support my body weight and i dun feel tired or heavy at all =) Then, suddenly a darker brown ship appeared! Standing on top was a PIRATE and a handsome one to be exact, more handsome than Johnny Depp. He pulled a lever and lowered stairs from his ship. I jumped across the wide stream onto the stairs. He lifted me up and showed me around his ship with a glass of red wine (I have legs which i dunno when). We sat and chatted on the deck after which he presented me with a mini white IPOD that is smaller than my palms.

OKAY. BACK TO REALITY!
Seriously, I think it's from the heavy workload in school that now my brain is going cranky! I dreamt about this in my sleep can you believe it. GOSH. Well, at least this was better than being bitten by a vampire and trying to turn back into human by drinking blood from the sacred, smelly, long hair head guy hanging on the stone wall where they declare that the fountain of aging? Wuahahaha. not funny.

Stress is really building up. Could feel the sudden adrenalin rush on my legs when i jerk in my sleep. I guess that's to prepare myself to runaway from the pile of journal papers chasing me.
This is seriously no life. I prefer attachment now! Sobs.

Shall spend some time here to update while waiting for time to pass.

Apparently the strand looked kinda curly so it is most prob PUBIC hair as mentioned by terence! haha. Because of that, we got another addition large pizza. Total 3 pizzas for the price of 1! haha. So look out for hair in pizzaa! It might be pubic hair! =/ hahaha!

Finally i am back from expedition with lots of love bites from the mosquitos and leeches. =/




Monday

Gathered in school and packed some of the camping stuffs before setting off on the train on a 12 hour journey to Kelantan. This is the first time I sat on a train before! hahaha. The feeling was so great! Another thing was that the carriage that we were on is actually a sleeping carriage. We got our own beds that we could sleep in comfortably! This was so exciting and fun for many of us since we are first timers. =)

TUESDAY

After 12 hours of journey on train, we finally reached kelantan at the dabong town.

After caving, we trek up to our base camp which is on Gunung Stong, Just where the top of the waterfall is at, right above us in the next picture.

After we reached the camp site, we started to pitch the tents.
Then for our dinner, we actually had claypot rice for dinner but i wun say it's fantastic! =/ It's too Soggy! Too much water was used to cook the rice! Then again, for the side dish, we actually cut carrots, calliflower and corn. While the adventure club peeps were cooking the food, they actually accidentally poured the pot of veg off and the poor veg landed on the sandy soil! =( Poor, ziyi, Herek and song qian had to go wash the soil off before cooking again. After dinner, we had a debrief session before starting our santry duties. Was pretty unlucky to get a weird timing! like 1 plus to 3. Where we all had to get up at 4.15 for breakfast. Why So early? There are malays in our camp here, we decided to eat breakfast together with them so this makes it more like a team effort. That's what they said. I agree although those adventure club people who said about team effort, i really didn't see it anywhere in the other thing they do. That's like a long story and i will be getting agitated when i say this so i shall keep it in the dark for now.


WEDNESDAY

Then the next day after breakfast at 4.15, we had potato salad for ur info, we went back to deep sleep in our tents. Then at 9 plus, we had a morning dip in the FREEZING and i mean FREEZING water. It Was a "TRADITION" for the adventure club to so this. YEah. So whatever. After the dip, we went off to climb to the summit of Gunung Stong. The base camp is actually located halfway on the mountain. I climbed in my wet clothes and my bag and myself seriously stinks!

MOUNTAIN TORTOISE! "SUA GU"

Hahahaha! Herek was still joking about it being a small little babay tortoise at first then dunno from how long ago climb to this size as if it was going to travel up to achieve enlightenment after long years of meditation. WUAHAHAHAHA. LAME!

Then again, after 4 hours, We finally reached the top of the peak! It was seriously DISAPPOINTING!


This was how the view from the peak looks like la, the other mountain is Gunung ayam (chicken) Tallest mountain in kelantan followed by the one we climbed.

The peak actually consisted 3 pieces of stone gathered together and then it was the tallest part in the mountain. The view from the mountain of the other mountain was not clear as it was blocked by the trees! =(





The route we travelled is not this much okay, we trekked more than a 1000 plus metres! Since we had to do a roundabout around the mountain to reach the top.

Then we had a quick lunch on the peak of the mountain which is tuna sandwiches! Then we made our way back down to campsite. 3 hrs Down, totalling to a duration of 7 hours! For dinner, we had PASTA. YEah. Still not bad for the dinner, we have got sausage and i forgt what was in it. Then santry duty, this time at 2.45 to 4! OMG! So freaking tiredd and somemore with SONG QIAN!

OMG! Why am i so agitated? You must be asking me that. Here's the story, he's actually a china guy whom at first i was okay with. Then later on his behaviour was makin me sick of him! First thing's first, While climbing down the summit of the mountain to our base camp, there was one part he actually slipped behind me, he pushed me fore and pull back my hand! WALAO! I almost fell lor! Shit him man, He still dare to tell me u okay, of course not la. I told him. You almost killed me lor!
Then i decided not to let him stand behind me. So i let him go front. Then later halfway through the journey, he have a really really bad habit of grabbing branches nearby and pulling them off the bushes. I told him not to and to no avail. Then one time, the was a few really low bamboo trees above where we had to bend abit to avoid it. Instead of avoiding, he went to pull it downwards la. Then suddenly, a big tree jus fell in front of my path where i was supposed to walk! 2nd attempt of murder!
3rd attempt was on the 4th day where we went trekking to another waterfall in the mountain. I was jus sitting on the rocks dippin my legs in water, while others enjoyed their dip under the fast and gushing waterfalls. He was swimmin in this part of the shallow water where i could even stand on my both feets and not drown except the rocks to stand on is abit slippery. He slipped. I mean it's okay to slip since i slipped but i dun go around grabbing people lor! i jus tried to tread on the water and then get my balance on the rock agin. He Went to grab and Hug my whole left calf! BLOODY HELL! I screamed and shouted to him to let go while shaking a "PEST" grabbing to my calf. Grabbing it even tighter despite of the screams i made and placing his whole weight on my legs lor. I shaked till he let go. Pris and the others were like laughing la! OMG! KILLER! I swear to stand far away from hiM! Not that i was paranoid or something but he jus like a total PEST to me! EWWW!~


THURSDAY

Morning, we had cereal; cornflakes, milo and ovaltine to be exact. Then sleep and morning dip. Followed by a trip to the waterfall where the gunung stong waterfall originate and start off from.

For trekking there, we wore our slippers and since it was going to be unsafe, we had to make our very own

After that, we headed down back to our campsite! and then packed and unpitched our tents before heading down to the start point which is the resort located at the bottom of Gunung stong. We reached in last than 3 hours. However, the journey down was so tedious for me! Jus near where we jus set off, i slipped and hurt my left thigh whil breakinf my fall. It hurt like hell! Then halfway through, it rained like mad! Was drenched and inside the bloddy hot poncho and stucked in the muddy/clayee roadd. I couldn't go down since it was very slippery and thanks to herek the commandO! He helped me down a few times by supporting and lending me his arms. He also broke my fall by grabbing me tight. Thanks man!

After that when we reached the bottom at 6pm, we bathe and changed to long pants since kelantan is a very conservative malay area. Then we were transported back to the train station where we were supposed to have our lunch and dinner. We sat and chit chatted till ard 10.40 when the train arrived. This time on the train i gt the bottom cabin! Wohhooo! more spacious than the upper cabin! Bigger window somemore. LOL. Then later settling down on train, went to canteen area near to the head of the train with pris, julia, herek, ziyi, jinlong and the song qian.

We started gossiping and lots of stuffs. Really fun to gossip with guys. Had a really common topic with herek since it was about song qian. Himself and ziyi counldn't stand Song Qian! ME toO! like i said wat happened before. This time, it was because they shared the same tent, Song's hygiene wasn't that good la. Basically littering around with the sunflower seed he was munching on listening to his mp4 loudly with no earphones while he couldn't sleep. Thus waking the rest. Then leaving his dirty clothes on the area where ziyi was supposed to sleep. After that on the next day, they had small coroaches and song still dareed to ask where it came from. Not to mention too an army of ants walking on his socks into his shoes where we left it when trekking to waterfall. It seriously sent goosebumps to me! so much ants! Uncountable, black, big and Eerie! ewwww!~

FRIDAY

We Reached singapore checkpoint at 9 plus, then headed back to school in cab! Helped to tidy up and cleaned the equipments. After that received our certs and ate luncheon cum dinner at AMK S11 together with pris, julia, ziyi, herek and myself. That was about 4 plus. Everyone was lookin at us with that big eyes la. The drink stall auntie also came and talked to us about our trip.

This trip i loved the caving part and being able to have fun in the waterfall! Except the summit was very disappointin! Oh well, at least i gained experiences! =)
