As you know, i am already on the 2nd day of attachment!
it's kinda tiring though. Although i am not doing much stuffs yet or rather now observing the techniques from the ppl there working on the project. I still gt to load the samples in the gel for electrophoresis! Anyway, the place that i am attached to is located at Defence science organisation building! Which is jus between NUH and NUS. The security there is rather tight though. Gotta exchange your I/C for a pass b4 u can enter the building. But of course staffs they gt their own pass. I am currently holding a temporary one jus to access the levels. I reallly reallly pity the lab technicians in our school! I really am i swear! Imagine them having to prepare so many samples for different classes each day! It's really tiring and back aching even though u are seating! Gotta like prepare alot of buffers and stuffs like 96 eppendorf tube for this, 96 for tat, 48 for this and 48 for that. I really misss my lab teccchh! Every reagent that we wanna use, we have to prepare ourselves! mix this mix that. Not like during prac class in sch, everything is so well prepared lying there for us! The place there i think it's not bad la. Got lots of wonderful NTU students and also a NYP engineerring student there too. haha. They brought us around NUS for lunch on different days. Great grp of peeps to hang out with. Oh, lunch time duration was only supposed to be 45 mins. However, the others usually took 1 hour plus coming to 2. hahaha. slackers man. But anyway, one of the supervisor was with us. :) Then, if i am sick, can jus sms my supervisor to inform her i am sick then submit MC the next day. Reporting time every morning kinda depend on us though. Supposedly on the paper they told us that reporting time is either 8.30-6 or 9-6.30. But still i guess everyone leaves at 6. Even my supervisor, so after she left, we followed too. hahaha. I guess at the place there, they assume you are old enough to handle stuffs properly without their concern. Yupss so tat's abt all! I am not allowed to reveal company secrets! =XXXXX hahaha. niteees
