Took a day leave from work today for my nafa. Thought i could wake up late, and guess what? i woke up around 7 plus. -.-" can't adjust my body's alarm clock. used to wakin at 6.50. So went to the bank awhile to change my passbook and walked around J8. In the end spending around 65 plus on high school musical CDS and DVD. -.-" i am supposed to save since i am broke! But somehow and somewhere the impulse buyer in me took control and i bought it. =/ slacked and rested at home before going back to school. Been a long time since i saw my classmate, some of them had hair grown till beyond my recognition. LOL. Anyway a big big news to share,

I FAILED MY NAFA TEST!

My whole body is aching!!!

It suckss!

First time in history i failed nafa for the first time. lolz. Previous nafa results are all GOLD. =)
Thats the results of not exercising for 3 bloody years.
Anyway, i passsed all stations except my 2.4km
failed by 23 seconds. =/
But i am kinda sad la.
My standing broad jump i missed 1 cm for a grade A.
and my incline pull up, they said 11 to get gold. Bluff me!
if not i won't do jus 13. -.-"

During my 2.4km. i almost diedd!
my legss are aching from the start when i did my 5 stations.
esp my thighs and breathing difficulties, swear i almost fainted.

oh well, gonna retake it in next sem, definitely gonna get a gold.

After the whole thing, we got a useless cert that i jus crumpled it and stuff in my shoebag.

Ate together with shuzheng, chin and guoping.
Heard alot of bad stuffs that's currently happening in school or a few months ago.
Heard that they were actually fine students who dun wear lanyard for a BLOODY $10
also can't believe that the lecturers are actually ambushed in front of the lift to catch students from our faculty who didn't wear their lanyard. Heard that first day they collected about 100 plus. Guess what? They didn't donate to some needy association but to the useless SCL club? OMG. If they donate to the charity, i won't mind paying but to them? over my dead body! It's some bad experience with them that i know their true colors and of course they don't deserve it.

Also, heard that after some of the lecturers after promotion, they totally changed from good to worst? And the usual lecturers that we hate, they are the good ones as from the attachment, my friend saw their true, nice nature. =)

From this, we landed on to our attachments stuff. Can't believe Guoping might be getting his name in some journal of their experiment findings. Well, i mean it will help in your future job and also he has got one guy who gt a nobel prize as a director in that big company?! Not to mention, if he write a recommedation letter for you, you will be like privileged, getting jobs in the science industry would be easier? After all, who won't know about a person who has got a nobel prize? After that dunno how, we landed our topics and all to foreigners. About the different kind of treatments that they have got? Of course the ang mohs had a better privilege compared to there chinese foreigners. It doesn't seem fair huh? but it works this way.

Then MOved on to the topic of respecting religions. Sz said when she was in GB, while in chapel, they were continously criticizing about other religions like worshipping some stupid golden statue? Bloody hell. Was kinda angry about that, i mean come on, people respect your religion so please be courteous to respect others' religions. Then we were also kinda pissed of on the handfuls of christians (jus a hndful of them, not all of them are like that) who kept on forcing people to go attend their church. Pestering you on and on. Saw alot of them in Orchard road especially. Handing out the pamplets to you and walking with you, whining in your ears about how good it is and pester u a distance before you have peace. Then they also gt a door to door preach? OMG.

There was two women today who came over and said about judgement day, about 3 holes in ozone layer, about the weather being very warm recently. Then go on saying god will get rid of the evil people in this world. Sort of cleaning the world. This is a place that god created, jus for us humans to live in. Okay, so i might agree, this place is a place we can live in. Well, we can't live in venus, mars or moon, could we? Anyway as courtesy, listened to her for a while, asked me to come for bible study and all. Well, kinda not interested. Although some values they mentioned made senses to me.

Although i am a free thinker, my family believe in buddhism. I know, in everyone's heart there's a god that they believed and had faith in. It's up to us to choose. So i really hope i wun meet anymore of this pestering christians saying their god is the best and critisize other gods.

But there is one issue that is kinda scary. Some of the christians said if you believe in god, you will be saved. Sz said most of them targetting the druggies, people with uncurable illness like cancer. Speaking about this, my mum got a friend who was a buddhist, she contracted cancer, who has a few more months to live. Then her daughter who was a christian persuaded her to convert to christian saying she will be saved if she convert. Then she agreed. After a week, she died?! Her daughter did a christian funeral for her. Then at night she gave her family dreams. She was crying in that dream saying how unhappy she is to have her funeral the christian style. Then they next day, the family performed the buddhist ritual for her, at night, she came back with a smile. Sounds kinda weird and unbelievable huh. This kind of thing is so hard to believe in.
