I swear what I am posting next will be gruesome. Definitely not for the faint hearted. Had my first lab class for physiology on wed. We had to study the control of heart beat of the toad.

Before we begin experiment, we had to dissect the frog of course. The frog is I think still alive since heart still moving? But dunno what they did. Maybe it is brain dead or they immobilized it.

This part of the experiment, we were trying to see the effects of the drugs on the sinus venosus of the frog! so gt to hang the heart from the ventricle. Cool contraction of the heart hor?
